Can Computer Inspire Mathematical Thinking?

Abstract

Mathematical thinking can be inspired in many ways. As a learner and user of technology we attempt to answer the question with the help of

  1. numerical computation;
  2. symbolic computation;
  3. visual computation;
  4. digital mathematical material consultation.
The complete answer to the question stated in the title may never be found. It is the mission of this conference to keep it as the ultimate challenge.
