Abstract
In
this special session, we will discuss the implications of dynamic mathematics
contents as described and how can it be delivered to the desktop computers
or handheld computing devices. We begin with a mathematics activity example
that is used in teaching. We highlight some of the key issues that teachers
are faced with for this activity to be Web-based with dynamic mathematics
content. The Web-based net-enabled environment will be re-visited, focusing
on the role of XML and MathML, and Web services. The session will conclude
with a proposed cyber environment where teachers, researchers and students
gather to share, learn, and explore. This community will leverage the
mathematical service technology to enable dynamic mathematics content
delivery. |
